Bruce Lee Club Activities Overview — 2006-2010

Since its establishment in 1995, the Bruce Lee Club has organized numerous activities. Below is a summary of some of the more representative events from 2006 to 2010:

2006
- November 25: In collaboration with the renowned toy company Enterbay Ltd., an exhibition featuring a Bruce Lee figurine designed by Korean designer Arnie Kim was held at the Page One bookstore in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
  
- December 10: Hosted an internal member event titled "Hong Kong Dragon Quest," a tour of various locations related to Bruce Lee in Kowloon and the New Territories, followed by a barbecue gathering at Golden Coast.

2007
- September 30: Organized a special lecture at the Hong Kong Film Archive titled "La Salle Alumni — Bruce Lee," featuring guest speakers Mr. Lee Tian-yun and Mr. Ho Kwan-chuen, both of whom were classmates of Bruce Lee.

- November 25: Led members to participate in the second "Martial Arts Journey" held in Shenzhen, hosted by the club's advisor, Master Lee Yan-chai, and his disciples.

2008
- June 24: Hosted a press conference at the "Century Star — Bruce Lee" statue on the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui. Attendees included notable figures such as Director Man Choi, Legislative Council candidate Mr. Tim Pang, Commercial Radio Director Mr. Wong Wing, and advisors of the club Mr. Fung Chi-fung and Mr. To Kit. The event aimed to appeal to the government and Mr. Yu Pang-nian, the owner of Bruce Lee's former residence, for the preservation of the site. This initiative, launched by the club, garnered widespread attention over 12 years.

- July 18-28: Held a ten-day exhibition titled "Bruce Lee's 35th Glory – Visual Design Art and Movie Collectibles" at the Innovation Center, 72 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong. The exhibition included "Bruce Lee Movie Collectibles," "Bruce Lee — Visual Design Art," and "41 Kimberley Road — Bruce Lee's Former Residence," along with martial arts demonstrations and lectures on weekends.

- November 30: To commemorate Bruce Lee's 68th birthday, the club hosted a movie appreciation night at the Hong Kong Film Archive in Sai Wan Ho, screening Bruce Lee's classic film "The Orphan."

2009
- July 15-26: In collaboration with Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation’s "Hollywood Plaza," the club co-hosted the "Dragon Leaps Over Hong Kong – Bruce Lee Collection Exhibition" to commemorate the 36th anniversary of Bruce Lee's passing, showcasing over 300 collectibles for free viewing. Special guided tours were conducted by the president, and Wing Chun master Mr. Wong Kin-leung and his students performed martial arts demonstrations on specific days.

- October 2009: The club was invited by Mr. Li Zekai's National Culture Company to participate in cultural festivals in Beijing's Chaoyang Park during the 60th National Day celebrations (October 1-8) and to hold two "Bruce Lee – The Dragon Soars Exhibition" events at the Beijing Olympic Park (home of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube) from October 29 to November 4. The opening ceremony featured distinguished guests, including the club's president Mr. Li Zhenhui, advisor Mr. Chan Kwok-kun, Wing Chun master Mr. Wong Kin-leung, and officials from the Beijing Tourism Bureau. This marked the first exhibition of Bruce Lee outside of Hong Kong and was a significant event in promoting Bruce Lee's spirit in the homeland.

2010
- At the invitation of Link Management Limited, the club organized four different themed Bruce Lee exhibitions from July to October across four shopping malls to celebrate Bruce Lee's 70th birthday. This series of exhibitions is believed to be the most comprehensive and rich in content in the history of Bruce Lee exhibitions in Hong Kong, showcasing his legendary life from multiple perspectives. Although each exhibition lasted four months, each attracted over 100,000 visitors. The first exhibition was held at Lok Fu Plaza, with notable guests including Link Management CEO Mr. Wong Kwok-lung, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong General Manager Ms. Bai Peiran, multi-creative individual Mr. To Kit, and Bruce Lee's sister Li Qiu-yuan and brother Li Zhenhui, who returned from the U.S. for the unveiling.

- In 2010, the film "My Brother – Bruce Lee," produced by Media Asia Films to commemorate Bruce Lee's 70th birthday, had the club's president Li Zhenhui serve as a co-producer, while the club's chairman Huang Qiang acted as the film's advisor.

- November 2010: To commemorate Bruce Lee's 70th birthday, the club organized several activities:
  - November 14: A special screening for members at the President Theatre in Causeway Bay, titled "Bruce Lee Club Dragon Fans' Priority Screening," allowing members to watch "My Brother – Bruce Lee" first.
  - November 27: In the morning, the president led members to lay flowers at Bruce Lee's statue on the Avenue of Stars. In the evening, another screening of "My Brother – Bruce Lee" was held at UA Cinemas in iSQUARE, Tsim Sha Tsui, inviting friends and members of the club.
- November 26: The eve of Bruce Lee's 70th birthday saw the club hold a press conference to announce the "Bruce Lee Commemorative Trail" project, which received significant media attention in Hong Kong.
